2022 MIDTOWN APT DECOR

My space gives me inspiration...
I've moved a few times over the last couple of years and each time I've managed to create a space that allows me to do just that...CREATE. I entered into 2022 with a mindset to be calm and balanced, then "figure out" and focus on the goals...literally. I had the "calm and balanced" part down but for me, it's hard to "figure out and focus" on my goals in a space that doesn't inspire me.
I've always loved black, white, and earth tones. It's the color scheme of my apartment and 5TH AND JUNIPER as a whole! When I moved to this current apartment, I was still trying to figure things out but I had a plan and a vision for how I wanted to live my life. Once my place was set up the way that I wanted, everything started falling into place.
As of now, 5&J HQ is running out of my 1 bedroom apartment (humble beginnings I know) so there needed to be a designated spot for inventory and a place to work. The shelves below are from Amazon and the boxes I found on ULINE. I'll do an inventory and storage post another time!
But on some days...
The absolute best place to sit and create...my bed. Don't get me wrong, I love all the other cozy areas full of natural light and foliage however, it's something about the comfort of the sheets and blankets that allows my mind to flow.
